Though we are not there yet we are heading on the right tract back towards the numbers produced in our peek years of 2006 - 2007 . Comparing 2011 to 2010 the county is showing a 9.8% increase in the total dollars sold in Gillespie county and compared to 2009 a 16.8% increase in total dollars sold. As you know Pearl Harbor day was this past Wednesdsay on the 7th and the Nimitz in Fredericksburg Texas put on a great event for the Veterens. I drove by the Nimitz a few times and was amazed at how many buses where parked unloading all day long, it was great to see that folks still remeber and care that these men back in WW2 fought and died for an idea that was the USA
