The 3rd quarter numbers are in and the cost of a home in Fredericksburg TX continues to rise.  The average price of a home for the first 3 quarters of the year is now at $255,487.  More important is the average price per foot for homes because that is what an appraisal uses to determine the value and that price is at $146.70 per foot,  that is a 6% increase over 2013 and is at an all time high.   What does this mean for buyers and sellers?  Well if you are a buyer it means the faster you find a home the better because with low inventory and continued high demand the price of a home today will likely be less that the price of that same home next year.
