Fredericksburg TX is getting a new brewery! 

This new craft brewery will be going in on Highway 87 just a couple of miles south of Fredericksburg. It should be a success if the folks involved are any indication. Lee Hereford is spear heading the project, Lee opened Wimberly Valley Wines inc in 1983 and Blue Mountain Vineyards in 1993 and therefore bring some experience in the spirits business including strong connections in distribution. The Head Brewer is Dr. Paul Farnsworth, a Brit with a PhD in microbiology from the university of London and had been teaching brewing and fermentation in New Mexico.

I can not wait to pick up a six pack and give it a shot! Fredericksburg is already home to a great Micro brewery , Fredericksburg Brewery, located in downtown Fredericksburg and it is a great place to go out to dinner but unfortunately you can not just pick up a six pack at the store. That is all about to change with Pedernales Brewing company, this is truly a Craft Brewery that will be distributing via stores and restaurants all over the Hill Country.
They will have multiple beers available such as LOBO( wolf ) , LOBO Bock, LOBO Negro, Ladder Truck & Pedernales Classics which will showcase beer from around the world!
