December 31, 4 p.m.-12 a.m.

Ring in the New Year in downtown Fredericksburg! The city is hosting two free events on New Year’s Eve. The first event will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and features children’s amusements, face painting, music, dance performances, free activities, arts and crafts and concludes with a ball drop on the Square! The all-ages event later that evening will feature live entertainment and end with a ball drop at midnight.
